THE Bureau of Customs (BOC) Port of Cebu has collected P3.3 billion in revenue for January 2022.

This is 70.54 percent or P1.37 billion higher than its assigned target for the month at P1.941 billion.

The BOC said on its Facebook page Wednesday, February 2, 2022, that last month's top imports include petroleum products, electrical and non-electrical equipment, iron, steel, and rice.

"The port attributes this feat to the collective efforts of its hardworking men and women and the support and cooperation of its stakeholders," read a portion of the bureau's post.

According to the BOC, this is the highest revenue collection and surplus ever recorded by the port in any month. (IRT)
