Cebu City Police Office (CCPO) Director Royina Garma has ordered an investigation on the suicide incident involving a government employee in Barangay Luz on Wednesday morning, November 21.

Garma said they will determine if there was foul play involved in the incident.

She said they will conduct autopsy on the body if the family would allow them.

The 24-year-old accounting staff of Pag-IBIG Fund reportedly jumped from the 12th floor of Pag-IBIG Building at 6:37 a.m.

Initial investigation showed the employee had a problem with his family.

For his part, Police Regional Office-Central Visayas Debold Sinas said the employee's death will be treated as homicide so a thorough investigation can be done.

The employee was brought to a hospital where he was declared dead on arrival by the attending doctor. (KAL)
