THE Bradford United Church of Christ Inc. in Cebu City has organized its Holy Week event entitled “Walkthru: Reflections on Jesus’ Way of the Cross.”

On Saturday morning, April 13, a ribbon-cutting and opening ceremony was held at the Walkthru entrance at the Terraces of Ayala Center Cebu in Cebu City.

The Walkthru is open to the public on April 13-17 and April 20-21. It is an interactive journey through the last moments of Jesus Christ.

The event is a modern take on the centuries-old Roman Catholic tradition of going through the 14 stations of the cross every year at Lent.

Each participant will journey through 14 stations of the cross, where they will be able to read, reflect and respond to a significant point in Jesus’s journey; connecting to their own personal journeys in life.

The first Walkthru was held at Bradford’s main church in 2014. It gathered more than 500 participants during the Holy Week, and thousands more at every succeeding Walkthru event. (S)
