Daanbantayan releases 4 Covid recoveries

Sunnexdesk

FOUR reported asymptomatic patients of the coronavirus disease (Covid-19) in the Municipality of Daanbantayan are now allowed to return to their respective homes.

This was announced by the Municipality of Daanbantayan on their Facebook post on July 4, 2020.

According to the DOH Memorandum 2020-0258, asymptomatic patients don't have to undergo a repeat test after the patient has finished its quarantine period.

However, to prevent concern from the residents, the patients will have to undergo another rapid test or polymerase chain reaction (PCR) tests to determine if they are already negative for the virus.

The patients will be issued a medical certificate as evidence that they have already recovered and will be allowed to return to their homes.

The Municipality of Daanbantayan also reported that five of the seven individuals who were tested on June 30 were found positive for the virus.

The new patients are first-generation contacts of DB Patient 6 and are all residents of Barangay Poblacion.

The new patients are reported to be asymptomatic and are isolated in a quarantine facility of the municipality. (RSR)
