THE stoppage order issued by the Department of Labor and Employment in Central Visayas (DOLE 7) against the Universal Robina Corporation’s (URC) sugar pulverizing department in Mandaue City will only be lifted once the company complies with the mandated Occupational Safety and Health Standards (OSHS).

Marites Mercado, DOLE Tri-City field office chief, told SunStar Cebu on Sunday, June 12, 2022, that they are now waiting for the company to submit the requirements proving it has already complied with the OSHS guidelines.
