A FIRE hit a house in Barangay San Roque, Talisay City at around 12:30 noon on Tuesday, September 24, 2019.

Firefighters suspected that the house, located in Sitio Dawis, Barangay San Roque, was a butane refilling station after liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) tanks and butane canisters were found after the fire.

These tanks and cannisters reportedly exploded during the fire, which prompted firefighters to raise the fire alarm level at first alarm to prevent it from spreading to nearby areas.

Aside from the house, three vehicles were also destroyed during the fire.

The fire was eventually doused at 1 p.m.

Investigators from the Talisa City Fire Department are still conducting an investigation to determine who owned the house. (FROM FMD OF SUPERBALITA CEBU/JKV)
