CEBU (Updated) -- At least 20 houses were destroyed in a fire that hit Sitio Lusimba, Barangay Basak San Nicolas, Cebu City Friday night, November 1.

Firefighters received the fire alarm around 7 p.m. It was raised to second alarm at 8:10 p.m. but was placed under control at 8:33 p.m.

Investigation is ongoing to determine what caused the blaze, but initial reports said the fire destroyed P160,000 worth of properties. (From Benjie Talisic of Superbalita Cebu)
