TWO former persons deprived of liberty (PDL) are going back to jail after they were arrested along Natalio Bacalso Avenue in Sitio San Vicente, Barangay Bulacao, Cebu City on Wednesday night, August 10, 2022.

They were identified as Rey Steven Buenavista, a 29-year-old resident of the area, and Jomel Añasco, who hails from Buenavista, Bohol.

Buenavista was the target of the raid headed by Jessie Cabutotan, team leader of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency 7.

Recovered from the suspects were suspected shabu with an estimated worth of P700,000, based on the standard drug price.

Buenavista did time for violating Republic Act 9154, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, while Añasco was behind bars for 10 years for murder and qualified theft.

Buenavista, who was released last April, and Añasco, who was released last month, were sent to the Cebu City Jail.
