The Ramon Aboitiz Foundation Inc. (Rafi) will hold a candidates forum for senatorial candidates for the entire month of March at the University of San Carlos (US) main campus.

The forum, which will be spearheaded by Mega Cebu, is dubbed “Klarohay Ta!” It will ask all 62 senatorial candidates on the following issues: traffic, flood, solid waste disposal and waste waste treatment, among others.

They will also be asked on their platforms of government in connection with agriculture, fishery, and industrial areas.

Evelyn Nacario Castro and Caroline Ballesteros said the forum will start on March 4 onwards with a maximum of six senatorial candidates per session. The grouping of the senatorial candidates will be based on responded first to their invitation.

Nacario said Mega Cebu will also hold separate forums in the month of April for candidates in local governments, congressional districts, and party-lists based in Cebu. They will also be asked similar questions.

Election Officer Ferdinand Gujilde said the forum is promising and he is excited because the candidates will be given an opportunity to air their platform to millennials especially students.

Gujilde said the forum will be a venue for candidates to relay their platforms and for voters to decide whom they will vote. (EOB)
