THE Land Transportation Office (LTO) 7 opened its latest extension branch in the town of Balamban, Cebu on Monday, Nov. 18, 2019. LTO 7 Director Victor Caindec said the Balamban office can issue student permits. It can also cater to motorists applying for new driver’s license or seeking renewal, he added. Thousands of motorists in the third congressional district are expected to avail themselves of the services offered by the LTO 7.

Caindec is eyeing to open five extension offices before 2019 ends.

In the first 10 months of 2019, the LTO 7 opened its extension offices in Garcia Hernandez, Bohol; Santa Fe, Bantayan Island; and Camotes. It also unveiled its E-Patrol Mobile Service.

After opening the Balamban extension office, Mhike Jelord Rollo of the LTO 7 visited La Libertad, Negros Oriental to check on the development of the extension office that will be opened by the end of November.

The LTO 7 will open its Driver’s License Renewal Office at Jai Alai Grand Mall and Gaisano Country Mall in Cebu City, and at SM City Consolacion.

An extension office will also open in Tubigon town, Bohol. These offices will start catering to the public in December, according to Caindec. (PAC, KAL)
