A MAN was caught on camera urinating in public, beside a government vehicle along Barangay Tejero, Cebu City on May 25, 2023.

The video, which was uploaded on the Cebu Road Heroes Facebook group, showed a man urinating while facing the direction of the government vehicle with the driver's door open.

The action irked netizens, saying those who work in the government offices should portray a good example.

"Angay ang disiplina maggikan sa tao mismo. Ang goverment mismo magdisiplina sa kaugalingon, mag-set og example sa katawhan," a netizen commented.

(Discipline should come from the person himself. The government should set an example to the people.)

Another social media user Shirley Cardosa stated: "Lain kaayo tan-awon, Sir. Naa pa jud sa karsada. Setting a very unpleasant example to everybody kay naa pa jud ka work sa mayor's office."

City Ordinance No. 1361 prohibits littering, spitting, urinating, and defecating in public places in the city.

As of press time, the video shared by SunStar Cebu garnered 117,700 views as of May 28.(RJM)
