Man nabbed for P2.1 million ‘shabu’

A 23-year-old man was handcuffed after 310 grams of suspected shabu worth P2.1 million was found in his possession.

Police Lieutenant Colonel Ronnie Failoga, head of the Regional Police Drug Enforcement Group in Central Visayas (RPDEU 7) who led the anti-illegal drug operation, identified the suspect as Jhon Mover, 23, a resident Spolarium Street, Sitio Pasong, Barangay Duljo-Fatima, Cebu City.

The buy-bust operation was conducted in Sitio Bayabas, Barangay Punta Princesa on Thursday dawn, December 8, 2022.

Failoga said they conducted a surveillance against the suspect for more than a week before they launched the operation.

It was learned that Mover was arrested in 2019 for illegal drug trade and was released under probation after more than two years in jail. (BBT, TPT)
