Man shot twice while sleeping inside SRP shanty

A STREET dweller was shot dead in Barangay San Roque, Cebu City yesterday dawn.

The victim was identified as a certain Randy in his 30s. In an initial investigation of the Homicide Section of the Cebu City Police Office, the victim was shot in the head and in the shoulder by unidentified assailants while sleeping inside a shanty at the South Road Properties.

The witness, who said she was a friend of the victim’s, said she heard two successive shots.

She said that it wasn’t until later that she learned that Randy was the one who had been shot and killed.

Police are investigating the incident. (JOB)
