Mandaue to deploy first mobile vaccination clinic

THE Mandaue City Government launched Wednesday, July 21, 2021, its first Mobile Vaccination Clinic that will increase the city's vaccination rollout.

Mandaue City Mayor Jonas Cortes inspected the Mobile Vaccination Clinic, which is a premium airport bus converted into a mobile clinic. It will soon operate the city's door-to-door vaccination.

The mobile clinic will complement the existing vaccination centers and will visit barangays for the vaccination rollout.

The Mobile Vaccination Clinic is a project in partnership with the Red Cross and UBE Express.

In the latest DOH Region VII case bulletin, Mandaue City logged 489 Covid-19 active cases with 43 new cases. It also reported 12 recoveries bringing the total recoveries to 730.

It also reported one additional death, with a total death toll of 237. (Mary June Villasawa-Enriquez)
