THE Office of the Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) has provided free airfare to all overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) who are in trouble abroad and offered them a financial grant for their livelihood. This was revealed by Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) Administrator Hans Leo Cacdac during an activity at the Capitol Social Hall last Friday.

The assistance is part of OWWA’s Re-integration Program, which is also called Balik Pipinas, Balik Hanapbuhay Program. OWWA allocated P2.53 billion in 2017 and P4.59 billion for 2018 for the said assistance to OFWs. (EOB)
