SUSPECTED shabu worth P68,000 and a .45 pistol were confiscated during a drug raid in Sitio Riverside, Barangay Lorega San Miguel, Cebu City at dawn on Thursday, June 8, 2023.

The operation was conducted by the members of Parian Police Station 1 that resulted in the arrest of Rodito Branzuela alias Damol, a resident of Sitio Palma, Barangay San Roque of the said city.

The suspect is undergoing police investigation to verify information that he is a hitman of a drug personality.

Colonel Ireneo Dalogdog, the chief of Cebu City Police Office, said the suspect has already revealed who his bosses are, but he refused to name them pending an ongoing investigation.

“So this is another accomplishment sa atong unified strategy katong ginatawag natog Orap (Operation Run After Perpetrators), so daghan natag mga nadakpan no nga mga involve sa shooting incident,” said Dalogdog.
