'Patriotic boy' meets netizen who took his iconic photo

THE boy who became famous because of his patriotic act finally met the person who took the iconic photo of him standing in attention while singing the national anthem a few meters away from his school in Argao, Cebu.

Glynis Amazona, the netizen who took the photo that went viral on Facebook, finally met Jerrick Caminero the "Patriotic boy" on Friday, February 15.

Amazona said she had to leave work early so she could catch Caminero who goes to Bogo Elementary School in Argao.

In her Facebook post Friday, February 15, Amazona said she asked Caminero if he was happy that he went viral and the boy shyly nodded.

She also learned from the school officials that personnel of the Regional Mobile Group 7 visited Caminero and asked him to join them in a flag ceremony.
