Rose Pharmacy holds Cancer Warriors Run

ROSE Pharmacy Inc. (RPI) held its second edition of Cancer Warriors Run with 11 partners on July 27, 2019.

The Cancer Warriors Run, hosted by RPI, started in 2018 for the benefit of Cancer Warriors Foundation Inc. The event is aimed at helping kids and adolescents with cancer, providing them with medication, education and support together with their families while battling the disease.

The new partners were Guardian, Derm-C, Cherifer, C2, Salonpas, Selecta, Listerine, Vicks, Unilab, Nestle and Glutamax.

RPI marketing executive officer Carrie Guinares said 12 teams participated in the run.

An estimate of 6,000 participants joined in the three-kilometer, five-kilometer and 10-kilometer categories.

According to Jennifer Baylon, Cebu Chapter head of Cancer Warriors Foundation, the first edition of the run was able to provide free medicines and home studies for students with cancer.
