Sunnexdesk

THE man who allegedly stole the Christmas decorations and tarpaulins with Christmas concepts along Osmeña Boulevard, Cebu City has already been caught by operatives of Parian Police Station 1.

But Major Efren Diaz, chief of Parian Police Station, did not reveal the name of the suspect as they are still looking for his other cohorts whom they have already identified.

Diaz said the suspects, who are both young, sold the Christmas decorations at lower price and the tarpaulins to vendors in Carbon Public Market who used it to cover their vegetables.

The missing Christmas items, which included Christmas lights, were first reported in SunStar Cebu on November 23.

The Christmas lights were supposed to light up the center island in front of Cebu Normal University. (AYB, TPT)

THREAT. According to a Capitol consultant, the Cebu City Government is threatening to shut down the Cebu North Bus Terminal at the back of SM City Cebu (left) and the Cebu South Bus Terminal along N. Bacalso Ave. for operating without a business permit. The Province, which runs both terminals, maintains that it operates the facilities as a public service for passengers going to the province and vice versa. /
