Talisay City College: No nursing course for now

Benjie B. Talisic

THE Talisay City College (TCC) will not be offering a nursing course yet as it still lacks the requirements needed by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) to apply for a nursing program.

Dr. Ritchel Bacaltos, head of TCC, told SunStar Cebu that TCC does not have enough facilities for the course, such as the laboratory.

Bacalso also said that the school needs to partner with a hospital for the on-the-job (OJT) training of their students as well as hire faculty members with master's degree.

Bacaltos said the process will still go a long way before they can achieve what they want. (BBT, TPT)
