IF YOU are planning to visit the Cebu City Hall at No. 1 Dr. Jose P. Rizal Street, make sure you do not have any flu-like symptoms.

Cebu City Mayor Edgardo Labella announced that starting Thursday, March 12, 2020, those who will have transactions at City Hall manifesting symptoms like fever and cough will not be allowed in.

The City Hall will implement such measure to prevent the spread of the coronavirus disease (Covid-19), especially among city hall officials.

All individuals planning to enter the premises will have their temperature checked by security guards through a digital thermal gun.

Labella advised all senior citizens who will be visiting the Office of the Senior Citizens Affairs (Osca) to wear protective masks to protect themselves not just from the covid-19 but also from any other diseases.

As of the moment, the mayor does not require all visitors and employees of the City Hall to wear masks since there is a concern of the availability of masks in the market. (JJL)
