TWO operatives from the Regional Special Operations Group (Rsog) 7 who were with SPO1 Roderick Balili inside the vehicle when a reported accidental firing led to his death may face administrative cases.

Supt. Reyman Tolentin, the Police Regional Office (PRO) 7 spokesperson, identified them as SPO1 Jonathan Buscato and PO1 Justine Padillo.

“If they will be found out nga negligent sila they could possibly face dismissal or suspension from service,” Tolentin said.

Tolentin said that Buscato and Padillo are now in the personnel holding unit of the PRO 7.

It was not established who between them was the driver who accidentally pulled the trigger and hit Balili.

He said that they await the report from the Regional Investigation and Detection Management Division.

Meanwhile, Tolentin said that Balili is being judged unfairly by the public, adding that Balili’s government-issued 9mm Glock was modified to enable it to fire continuously. (JOB)
