ALBERT Sam Aureus Tabañag—the barangay captain of Tomonoy, Moalboal, Cebu—donated school supplies to students on June 3, 2019.

The beneficiaries were the students of Tomonoy Elementary School, from kindergarten up to grade six.

The activity was witnessed by Tabañag’s family, Tomonoy school principal Wedmark Abenido, the students’ parents and the school’s teaching staff.

Four days later, on June 7, Tabañag donated another batch of school supplies and bags to the children enrolled at Tomonoy Day Care Center. Day care teacher Eleuteria Tabacon, the children’s parents and some residents attended the event.

Tabañag’s family supported him in his endeavor. In 2018, he also donated school supplies to the students.

The village chief promised to launch his feeding program soon.
