CEBU City Police Office (CCPO) Director Senior Supt. Royina Garma said that the police are still looking for four drug personalities

who escaped during an anti-drug operation last Tuesday, which led to the death of four-year-old Skyler Abatayo.

“For me, Skyler is an angel. He was an innocent who died as a result of illegal drugs. What this means is that no matter how straight a life you lead, if

someone close to you is involved in illegal drugs, you will not be spared of danger,” Garma said in Tagalog.

She said that investigation is still ongoing to track down the four drug personalities to get their version of the incident.

The four police officers, who were relieved pending investigation, were identified as PO3 Raydale Sardual, PO2 Dennis Estrada,

and PO1s Rey Dadula and Wilbert Perez.

Garma said that Perez and Dadula were the ones who engaged the drug personalities. She said that the incident was

not a planned operation.

“It was a validation of a report that drug personalities were repacking shabu and having a pot session in the area, not a buybust,”

Garma said.

Garma will meet with Ermita officials to discuss their measures in future drug operations as there were allegedly no barangay officials

who could’ve helped the police control the crowd during the incident.

Meanwhile, the CCPO said that the father of Skyler is on the drugs watch list of two police stations. (JOB)
