Tell It to SunStar: Human rights and art

Sunnexdesk

THE recently concluded activity, which was a partnership between artists’ group Dakila and the Commission on Human Rights moved me in many ways. It taught the youth to be more aware of their rights and their environment. It was only best that it began with educating the young about what should be right in society so that they will have something important to say in their art, be they in filmmaking, poetry, short story, song or photography.

In times like we have now, it is important to deliver the right message in the most effective way.
