Tell it to SunStar: Life after death

Sunnexdesk

THE Bible is the source of our knowledge about God and all other knowledge and wisdom. If we consider the Bible as one that is containing truth, then it is solid proof that there is life after death. Our body dies, and our spirit lives on.

Moses died at the age of 129 after completing his mission of liberating the Israelites from slavery in Egypt. This story was narrated in the Old Testament.

Then in the New Testament during Jesus’s time, Moses together with Elijah conferred with Jesus before Jesus was arrested. Elijah was there in spirit, too, because he already died as John the Baptist. The spirits of Moses and Elijah lived after their physical deaths.

God forbids people from consulting with the spirit of the dead. This again shows that the spirit of the dead is alive. There are people who can consult with the spirit of the dead. Otherwise, there is no point in God’s prohibition.

Based on the Bible, I say there is life after death. Isn’t that wonderful?--Chito E. Germino

THREAT. According to a Capitol consultant, the Cebu City Government is threatening to shut down the Cebu North Bus Terminal at the back of SM City Cebu (left) and the Cebu South Bus Terminal along N. Bacalso Ave. for operating without a business permit. The Province, which runs both terminals, maintains that it operates the facilities as a public service for passengers going to the province and vice versa. /
