Tell it to SunStar: Those Chinese products

Sunnexdesk

I AM a tru-blue Boholana but I have been living in Barangay Pusok, Lapu-Lapu City for the past three decades now. Being a Boholana, I practice frugality. I always look for things that are cheap when I buy things that I need.

I would like to address this letter to the Chinese consul here in Cebu.

China, which is soon to become the world’s number one economic giant has long been producing goods that are cheap. Last week, I bought a pair of stainless scissors but, sad to say, today it is already becoming rusty.

Way back in the 1950s, Japanese products were known to be of inferior quality but look at Japan now. Quality-wise, its products can already compete with those of western countries.

An example is Toyota, which has become the number one automobile maker outselling General Motors of the United States of America.

Can we expect China to come out with quality products in the future. If so, when.Or will China continue producing cheap and inferior products?--Monita Lopez

When can those road repairs done simultaneously in many areas in Metro Cebu be completed? We have sacrificed for too long already.--Roy Dilan
