1992 crushes 1991 in USPF Alumni League

Batch 1992 continued their dominant ways in Division A as they routed 1991, 62-43, in the University of Southern Philippines Foundation Alumni Association Panthers Cup Season 2 Inter-Batch Basketball Tournament last Sunday at the Capitol Parish Gym.

Ronald Ravanera led the way for 1992 as he had 13 points, two assists, and a steal, to help his team hike their win-loss record to 2-0. To date, 1992 has gone unbeaten since the first season of this tournament that saw them emerge with an undefeated 8-0 mark.

In other Division A games, 1995 beat 1994, 38-23, while 1997 got the best of 1996, 53-48. 1999 also trounced 1998, 59-53, thanks to the 25-point outing of Luis Enero.

In Division B, 2006 won their third straight game after they eked past 2001, 52-48. Sam Hermosa took over the game and finished with a double-double of 22 points and 11 rebounds to help his team move to 3-0.

Other games saw 2000 take down 2004, 68-55, while 2008 tripped 2002, 59-45, with Justin Sabaldan notching 12 points, two boards, and an assist. 2003 also nipped 2014, 55-50, as Jose Marie Gonzales had 16 markers.
