3 hope to extend run in Talamban league

THREE teams will try to keep their spotless record intact on Sunday, April 7 in the elimination round of the Hinapay sa Talamban Fiesta League Softball Championship 2019 at the M. Lhuillier Farm, Tigbao, Cebu City.

The Diamonds, Pythons and Halbstarken all have 4-0 (win-loss) record and are hoping to keep their perfect record as they face separate foes.

The Diamonds will battle Navy Neptune (1-3), Halbstarken will clash with Taters (1-3), while Pythons has the toughest schedule against the rising Cambaro (3-1).

The other games will feature Bulldogs (2-2) versus Tiger Black (1-3), and the game between winless teams Primos (0-4) and Angels (0-4).

The annual softball tournament organized by Talamban Softball Club and Rebels Baseball Club aims to promote batted sports to the grassroots level.

All teams were allowed a maximum of three reinforcements who are active players to guide them in the tournament. (RSC)
