Sunnexdesk

DUE to the current situation at the Taal Volcano, the simultaneous 7-Eleven Run Series to be held in Manila, Cebu City and Davao City will be moved to a later date.

The event was originally set on Feb. 2, 2020, but will be moved to another date as the Taal Volcano is currently at Alert Level 4, which can affect participants, especially those in the Manila leg.

“Due to the situation in Taal and the potentially hazardous effects to the event of an explosive eruption, (the 7-Eleven) Run 2020 across all venues in Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao will be postponed to a later date to ensure the safety and the well-being of the participants, employees and event partners,” read part of the event’s statement.
