ALA to hold two events in early 2019

ALA Promotions is looking to stage two events in the first quarter of 2019 that will be headlined by the new generation of ALA boys.

“We are working on another Pinoy Pride event at the Waterfront Cebu and another in Mindanao by the first quarter. After the impressive performances of (Jeo) Santisima, Albert (Pagara) and KJ Cataraja, the feedback has been tremendous. Santisima has proven to be one of the most exciting fighters to watch and KJ has been considered by a lot of boxing experts as the future of Philippine boxing. Albert is back to his old form. We expect bigger things next year,” ALA Promotions president Michael Aldeguer told SunStar Cebu.

Santisima, Cataraja and Pagara headlined the triple header of Pinoy Pride 45 - “Quest for Greatness” last Nov. 24 at the IEC Convention Center.

“Pinoy Pride is tentatively set on April at the Waterfront. The other is in March, either in Davao, Cagayan or Gensan. It won’t be Pinoy Pride, but we’ll be launching a new program called “ALA on Tour” after the successful events in Bohol, Maasin, Davao. The plan is to tour the whole Philippines in the next years.” (EKA)
