BIT College beats sister squad in BSAA

The BIT International College (BIT IC) handed its sister squad, the BIT IC Talibon, an 88-66 beatdown in the Seniors division of the Bohol Schools Athletic Association (BSAA) Season 9 at the Holy Name University Barder Gym on Tuesday night, Oct. 8, 2019.

BIT IC took control of the game from the get-go as they raced ahead, 47-29, and never looked back to pick up the easy win.

Mark Jay Bual led the winning side with 21 points and four assists, while Kaiser Manlapat and Arnold Monterola provided ample support with 12 markers each.

In the high school division, the Cristal e-College (CeC) downed the PMI Colleges, 85-76.

Jeric Udarve helped steer CeC to the victory as he had a complete stat-line of 18 points, four rebounds, seven assists and six steals. Juhnedel Mijos led the team in scoring with 23 points while Ron Roxas added 13 markers.

The loss put to waste the incredible 33-point performance of PMI’s Socorro Tagaro. Kim Lao-ay also had a stellar game of his own in the losing cause, as he had 22 points. JNP
