BIT dumps UB to win in BSAA seniors division

THE BIT International Colleges dumped the University of Bohol (UB), 100-83, in the Seniors division of the Bohol Schools Athletic Association (BSAA) Season 9 at the Holy Name University gym in Tagbilaran City on Saturday, October 12, 2019.

Mark Jay Bual stepped up in a huge way as he scored 18 points to go with his two rebounds and three assists to lead BIT to their fifth win in six games.

Kaiser Manlapat also helped out with his 15 points, while Warren Orias and Clifford Marsamolo submitted 11 and 10 points, respectively.

BIT was actually trailing by one, 45-46, at halftime but turned their game up another notch in the second and outscored UB, 55-37, to author the win.

UB, on the other hand, fell to 2-4 for the season. Joseph Morata scored 18 points to lead the team, while James Bolos and Jared Bolos added 17 points each. Jahidi Rios also scored in double-figures for UB with 11. (JNP)
