Build It starts strong in A+E 6th Corporate Cup

BUILD It got their campaign in the Architects + Engineers Basketball Club 6th Corporate Cup off to a victorious start as they defeated Dwight Steel, 52-43, last Friday at the Southwestern University gym.

Criz Matunog led the way for Build It with 20 points and six rebounds, as they pulled away in the fourth period to pick up the win.

In other games, Trillis beat EGS, 59-53, thanks to the masterful performance of Carl Valencia who scored 18 points on a perfect 5-of-5 from the field to go with 14 rebounds. Socrates Nagel added 13 markers.

Meanwhile, Cebu Sinclair Paints crushed Golden Hammer, 80-57. Lyndon Fermo had 12 points and six boards, Zach Go added 11 points, eight assists, three rebounds, and three steals, even as Gerald Lentorio put up 10 points, five boards, and three dimes.
