CEBUANO wakeboarder Raphael Trinidad won a silver medal in the IWWF World Cable Wakeboard Championships in Argentina.

The 17-year-old Trinidad had a total score of 75.33 in two runs.

“It feels like a miracle that we made it here. I’m super stoked to land the runs I was planning to,” Trinidad said in a report posted at GMA News Online.

“I’m super happy just to ride with Lio and Liam and have a good time.” Trinidad finished second just behind gold medal winner Lior Sofer of Israel and ahead of Liam Peacock of Great Britain, who nabbed the bronze medal.

“To many parents and the wakeboarding community – I love you guys! WE got here, yes!” said Trinidad, a native of Liloan. (EKA)
