THE action continues for the top teams in the Cebu Schools Athletic Foundation Inc. (Cesafi) as they compete in the 2nd Minglanilla Mayor’s Cup Inter-collegiate Christmas League at the Minglanilla Sports Complex.

The five-team tournament tips off on Dec. 7, 2019, with the tournament dangling a whopping P100,000 for the champion squad.

Set to compete in this pocket tournament are the defending champions University of the Visayas, newly crowned Cesafi champions Southwestern University-Phinma, Cesafi third-placer University of Cebu, the University of San Jose-Recoletos and the University of Southern Philippines Foundation.

The runner-up will bag P60,000 while the third and fourth place squads will net P30,000 and P15,000, respectively. The last place squad will not go home empty-handed as it will receive P10,000.

The tournament will also be hosting the pre-season games of the Gullas Cup 20-Under Basketball Tournament. (JNP)
