CIE bags 18-Under crown in PSDL

THE Center for International Education (CIE) bagged the Under-18 division crown of the Private Schools Developmental League (PSDL) after defeating Divine Life Institute of Cebu (DLIC), 71-64, last Jan. 26 at the Paref-Springdale Gym.

It was nip-and-tuck in the first three quarters with neither team giving in. DLIC had a one-point lead, 47-46, going into the fourth quarter.

However, Vince Ryan Tecson took charge and scored nine of his 20 points to lead CIE to victory.

Ralph Seno added 13 markers, Jake Gorre scored 12 and Chris Balabat chipped in 10.

Nino Vin Clark Jugan, who was hot with eight points in the third period, was silenced and just scored four in the final quarter James Al Lim contributed with 13, Godfrey Sabanal dropped 12 and John Paul Boyles had 10. (EKA)
