TOP-seeded teams John Dave Aznar Food Haus and Talisay City Hall stepped on the gas pedal to slam their respective opponents in the knockout quarterfinals of the City Hoops Basketball League Season 6 at the Vista Grande Gym in Bulacao, Talisay City.

The No. 2 seed Talisay City Hall displayed its full arsenal with six of its players scoring in double figures in a clinical 128-72 victory over the Cascrete Builders to advance to the semifinals.

Jovan Tabay top-scored for the winning team with 16, Marzon Tabay added 15, Christopher Obeso had 14, Jomags Maglasang added 13, Dondon Iglamo handed 12 and Kevin Lozano chipped in 10.

Jacob De La Cerna and Johnrey Pomicpic were the only bright spots for Cascrete Builders with 27 and 21 points, respectively.

The No. 1-seeded team John Dave Aznar Food Haus defeated Z&G Pro and Audio, 105-93, on their separate quarterfinals match. John Dave Aznar scored 24 points, Zareygel Rosano canned 18 and Kent Sanchez added 16.

Talisay District Hospital (TDH) Medicals won over the Salazar Colleges of Science and Institute of Technology, 89-80, while the Bulldogs pulled off a stunner over the San Remigio Properties, 91-86, in overtime. John Gomez exploded for 31 points and Mark Monte added 21 points. (RSC)
