ONCE highly-ranked, Romero Duno makes his return to the ring this weekend since his painful knockout loss to Ryan Garcia in 2019.

Duno takes on former World Boxing Council (WBC) Youth super flyweight champion Angelito Merin on Feb. 29, 2020 in the main event of Sanman Promotions’ “Redemption” show at the Lagao Gym in Gen. Santos City.

Duno suffered a huge setback in his last fight after he was quickly disposed of by the highly-touted Garcia on Nov. 2, 2019 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

The 24-year-old Duno is working his way back up the lightweight ladder after dropping out of the world ranking following his loss to Garcia.

Duno is 21-2 with 16 knockouts, while Merin is 10-12-3 with four knockouts. (EKA)
