Eagles still undefeated in Elite Club

THE reigning champions Eagles kept their undefeated record intact as they pummeled the Sharks, 95-81, in the Elite Basketball Club Cebu Season 16 at the Visayan Glass gym, Cebu City last Friday, November 22, 2019.

The win was the Eagles’ sixth in a row, and it was made entirely possibly by the tremendous efforts of Carlo Ortega who had 22 points, eight rebounds, three assists, two steals and a block.

The Sharks fell to 3-3, in spite of the 28 points of Ashley Villardar.

Meanwhile, the Raptors evened up their win-loss record at 3-3 with a 103-84 win over the Wolves. Jose Acha torched the defense of the Wolves as he tallied a whopping 34 points on top of 10 rebounds.

The Wolves dropped to 4-2, wasting away Ian Cabanero’s dominant showing of 28 points, 15 rebounds and six assists.
