DOCDOC Gothong ruled the Cebu Tenpin Bowling Association (Cetba) Monthly Bowling Tournament for June at the SM City Cebu Bowling Center on Saturday, June 29, 2019.

Gothong scored a total of 1,337 in the six-game series to win the June crown over Roland Bantilan and senior bowler Fred Torrequemada, who scored 1,265 and 1,223, respectively

Gothong, a 25-handicapper, got things going early after scoring 211 and 288 in the first two games, but faltered in the next two games with 172 and 157. He recovered, though, in the fifth and sixth games with 203 and 216 to secure the win.

Bantilan’s 1,265 came from rounds of 235, 171, 226, 171, 195 and 177, while Torrequemada’s 1,223 was from rounds of 180, 162, 151, 211, 167 and 172.

Nestor Longcanaya finished at fourth place with 1,220 and Marvin Sevilla landed at fifth with 1,217.

Completing the Top 10 were Rey Velarde (1,194), Micmic Miranda (1,187), Rene Ceniza (1,159), Rommel Calipay (1,151) and John Galindo (1,140). RSC
