Iligan City pulls out of VisMin Cup

Sunnexdesk

The Iligan City Archangels has informed the management team of the Chooks-to-Go Pilipinas VisMin Super Cup that it would not longer be playing in their last three games because of internal issues.

The development is a sorry one for the Archangels, which had competed valiantly in this tournament save for the rout they got at the hands of the unbeaten Clarin squad. They will exit this competition with a 0-5 win-loss card.

With Iligan’s departure, the league’s head of basketball operations Marvin Caro has also amended the schedule of games to reflect the changes. He added that they will also be meeting to see what kind of sanction they would impose upon the Iligan City franchise. (JNP)
