THE Don Bosco Technical College (DBTC) Alumni and KNF United will fight for the 45-Above Division title of the AboitizLand Football Cup when they clash on Sunday, March 15, 2020, at the Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu Field at 8 a.m.

Both teams share identical 3-1 win-loss records with the Bosconians comfortably ahead by four goals after scoring 15 in their four games and conceding only three.

On the other hand, KNF-United, which won the Sinulog Cup 40-Above title on March 1 as KNF-San Roque Football Club, score averaged three goals in their four games but conceded also four times for a goal difference of eight.

The advantage on goals means the Bosconians only need a draw to come out the 45-Above champion on goal difference, while KNF-United must shoot for a win to bring home the title on points.

Also on Sunday, Men’s Open Division 1 Makoto FC will try to keep hold of the top spot against the University of Cebu-Kajitech, while defending champion Leylam FC will take on the University of San Jose-Recoletos to stay at No. 2 in the standings. Makoto, which beat Erco Bro, 2-1, on March 8, holds the top spot with a perfect 4-0 record for 12 points, while Leylam is second at 10 points on a three-win, one-draw record. Leylam routed Don Sacredale, 12-0, on March 8 and will be shooting for another morale-boosting win before the final round of matches on March 29. (PR)
