CEBUANO triathlete Karl Greyson Le of Sante Barley Triathlon Team will debut on the men’s elite division of the Mangoman Triathlon Challenge 113 in Guimaras Island this Sunday.

The 20-year-old Le was coming off a solid outing in the Capiz International Triathlon a week ago, where he finished first in his age group category.

The 7th Mango Man Triathlon Challenge 113 will be a 70.3 distance race, covering 1.9-kilometer swim, 90K bike and 21K run. This will be the second 70.3 distance for Le.

“I’m 100 percent preparing for this race. It’s my second 70.3 distance but first time to race in the elite category,” said Le, who had his first 70.3 race in the Alveo Davao Ironman 70.3.

“I got disqualified on my first 70.3 race because of my racebelt. This time I’m going to bounce back,” said Le, who will leave for Guimaras on Thursday. (PR)
