Magbanua, Salimbangon conquer St. Benedict Fun Run

ZACK Salimbangon and Lorena Magbanua conquered the St. Benedict Childhood Learning Center Fun Run, winning the men’s and women’s 3-kilometer race on Pescadores Road in Cebu Business Park yesterday.

Salimbangon crossed the finish line in 15 minutes and 10 seconds to win the men’s 3K. Mickael Dy finished in second place with 15.24 and Mark Noel placed third with 18.05.

Magbanua topped the women’s 3K after clocking 19:31. Sacred Villaflor snagged second place with a time of 20.24 while Teresita Cellan finished in 21:02 to round up the top three.

Lance Ngo won the boys’ 100-meter dash in 25.14, Kenzo Hatori finished second in 35.91 and Lucas Peralta was at third place with a time of 36.84.

Dawn Gothong won the girls’ 100m dash in 21.61 followed by Arabella Cañedo in 21.91 and Pauca Tan in 21.98.

Meanwhile, the Pidor family completed the 1K course in 6.50 to win the Family Run. Arong family finished in 7.25 for second place and Beloria family timed 7.47 for third place. (RSC)
