MOHON and Tangke came up with easy wins in the Seniors division of the Talisay City Mayor’s Cup basketball tournament on Sunday night at the Talisay City Sports Complex.

Mohon leaned on a fast start to obliterate San Roque, 98-76, while Tangke also outgunned Pooc, 96-80.

Giovanni Tabay led Mohon in scoring with 24 points while Alpe Canillo added 14 markers. Mike Cana and Romel Antimaro put up 13 and 11 points, respectively, for Mohon, which led, 29-15, after the first 10 minutes of action and before extending it to 51-31 at halftime.

Meanwhile, Paul Torrecampo and Lourben Manayon proved to be a potent one-two punch for Tangke as the former had 28 points while the latter punched in 22. (JNP)
