Sista Super Sealers seek second title in PBA 3x3

THE Sista Super Sealers seek to become the very first team to capture back-to-back leg championships as the PBA 3x3 Lakas Ng Tatlo third leg will start on Dec. 4, 2021 at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig.

Fresh from winning the previous leg, the Super Sealers open their title quest against the Cavitex in Pool A at 2 p.m.

Composed of RJ Argamino, Prince Rivero, Leo De Vera, and Kenneth Mocon, the Super Sealers of coach Juven Formacil defeated guest team Pioneer Pro Tibay in last week’s Leg 3 for the championship.

Aside from Sista and Cavitex, also grouped in Pool A are Platinum Karaoke, Limitless Appmasters and Zamboanga Valientes MLV.

The Appmasters-Valientes match comes right after at 2:25 p.m. in the second of a heavy 16-game schedule set on the opening day of Leg 4.

Last leg runner-up Pioneer Pro Tibays head Pool B and it will face San Miguel Beer in its opening foray at 2:50 p.m. Also in the same group are Barangay Ginebra and Leg 2 champion Meralco Bolts.

Terrafirma 3X3 meanwhile, is bunched in Pool C together with tournament top scorer Joseph Eriobu and the Purefoods TJ Titans, NorthPort Batang Pier, and maiden leg champion TnT Tropang Giga led by Almond Vosotros.

The Dyip will open hostilities in their group by taking on the Batang Pier at 3:15 p.m.

Six more games are in store on the second day of pool play on Sunday prior to the knockout stage.

The top three teams in Pool A join the top two in Pools B and C in the quarterfinals, with the eighth and final berth to be disputed by the no. 3 teams in Pool B and Pool C.

The winner of the leg will get P100,000, while P50,000 will go to the runner-up, and P30,000 to the third placer.
