The TNT Tropang Giga evened the PBA Philippine Cup finals up at 2-2 with a 100-87 victory over the San Miguel Beermen on Sunday at the Smart-Araneta Coliseum.

Jayson Castro was near-unstoppable as he carved up the Beermen’s defense to the tune of 26 points on 10-of-13 shooting. He added six rebounds and four assists in an impeccable game for TNT that saw them commit a league record of three turnovers for the entire match.

"Coach Chot said turnovers were key for us. We had a lot of turnovers, 24 the last game. So that’s the no. 1 on the list heading towards this game," said interim head coach Sandy Arespacochaga after the match. Arespacochaga handled the presser as head coach Chot Reyes rushed to tend to Gilas’ practice after the PBA game.

Cebuano Roger Pogoy had another awesome game with 21 points, while Mikey Williams added 15 markers and six assists. Kelly Williams added 14 markers and seven boards.

San Miguel got another awesome ballgame from Cebuano behemoth June Mar Fajardo who had 20 points and 19 rebounds. The loss, though, spoiled Fajardo’s crowning as the Best Player of the Conference.
