The V-Drink Malunggay notched their first win after defeating the True Ballers, 90-87, in the Uppeclass Cebu Basketball League at the Cebu Port Authority gym last Sunday, February 16, 2020.

Ken Gato was the difference-maker for the V-Drink squad as his 18 points, three rebounds and four assists helped propel his team to the close victory that evened up their win-loss record at 1-1 in Bracket A. The True Ballers fell to 0-1.

Meanwhile, two teams logged in wins without breaking a sweat as the White Wolves and Cut & Shave Lounge won via default.

The White Wolves now sport a 2-0 card in Bracket D while Cut & Shave Lounge is now at 1-0 in Bracket B. (JNP)
