7-Eleven launches new products

THERE are new additions to the food meals offered by 7-Eleven Convenience Stores here in Davao City.

For the first time, both the 7-Eleven’s Crunch Time fried chicken and chicken nuggets that customers in Luzon had first loved are now here in Mindanao.

Last October 6, they first released the two food meal products in 20 stores in Davao City. This was followed by another 24 stores on November 17 completing the 44 branches in the city. According to Kitchen Operations Field Consultant Aldin Lorenzo, by the end of the year they plan to reach the target of 55 branches in Davao City, all offering the newest Crunch Time fried chicken and chicken nuggets.

“The Crunch Time fried chicken that we offer here in Davao City branches are bigger, crunchier, juicier compared to the fried chicken offered by fast food chains. It is also more affordable because for only P69, one can have fried chicken and rice in 175 grams serving,” Lorenzo said.

One-piece fried chicken is sold at P69 while the 2-piece fried chicken is at P115 only. Chicken nuggets are served in 4 pieces with barbecue sauce sold in ala carte for only P45 or with rice at P60.

He added the release of these chicken food items in Mindanao is expected to increase foot traffic and generate additional sales while also keeping as a priority the convenience of the customers. With 7-Eleven’s Crunch Time fried chicken and chicken nuggets they assure their service to be faster even compared to fast food chains as their fried chickens and nuggets are already prepared hot in warmers by the counter, said Lorenzo.

With their central kitchen located in Cabaguio, Lorenzo said they see to it that their branches will be delivered with freshly-cooked fried chicken and chicken nuggets on a regular basis.

By next year, they plan to also launch these food products in 7-Eleven branches in Cagayan de Oro City, General Santos City, Iligan City, and parts of Davao del Norte.
